League Committees At Work
League Committees are meeting regularly. The committees
are a terrific way to play an active role in your Municipal
League, while learning about the inner workings of local government.

Seattle Governance:
The committee is engaged in a detailed review of Seattle City Light
operations.
The committee meets in the law offices of Davis Wright
Tremaine on the 26th Floor of the Century Square Building, 1504 4th Avenue in
downtown Seattle. Call for meeting time. Chair:

King County/Suburban Cities Governance: What is going on in cities and
towns around the county? What issues are important to them? What’s their
relationship with county government? Contact the League office or visit the web
page for information on the next meeting date. Chair: Deb Dollard
Initiative Committee: There will be several local and statewide
initiatives on the ballot this Fall. Study the pros & cons of the different
proposals and recommend the League’s stand on the initiatives. Next meeting is
on June 28 from 12:30 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. at the Muni League Conference Room, 810
Third Avenue, Room 224 in Seattle. Chair: Jocelyn Marchisio
Communications Committee:
Do you like to talk? Have the writing bug? We need your
help writing articles, editing and publishing the Muni News and spreading the
word about the League. Call the office for meeting times and location.
