CIVIC AWARDS LUNCHEON
Plan to join us in a special recognition of people who have made an
outstanding contribution to our region. The Annual Municipal League Civic Awards
Luncheon, chaired by Ruth Schroeder, will be held on Friday, June 2nd from 12:00
to 1:30 at the Washington State Convention Center.
A Municipal League tradition since 1960, Civic Awards are a way to call
attention to the often overlooked and under-appreciated community efforts of
private citizens, public officials, and organizations. We are now accepting
nominations for Civic Awards in the following categories:
- Citizen of the Year
- Public Official of the Year
- Public Employee of the Year
- Business of the Year Organization of the Year
- Governmental News Reporting
- James R. Ellis Regional Leadership
- Doug Mason Memorial
- Warren G. Magnuson Memorial

Nominations must be received by March 31, 2000.
