I seek public office to stand up for values that
uphold the public interest. Shoreline was created by
people who believed in the citizensright to be
involved in decisionmaking for their neighborhoods and
betterment of the community. In many cases theyve
been disappointed, by a lack of respect for their
input and feel left out of the process. When they see
private development interests getting the ear of the
local government to the exclusion of the people and
their neighborhoods.
This is not right. I want to Save Fircrest School,
defend the merchants on Aurora Ave and protect our
urban environment through effective legislation and
public involvement.
I believe our government should represent the public
trust and administer tax dollars fairly for the public
good. The local governments have a responsibilitiy to
steward our environment according to scientific
principles and enforce the laws.
They have a duty to represent and listen to ALL the
people not just the powerful.
2. Describe your most important personal
characteristics or traits as they relate to the office
you seek.
Determination, positive energy, patriotism and
vision,
healthy skepticism, sense of humor, love of music, art
and nature
3. Please describe in sufficient detail, one to three
accomplishments or contributions of which you are most
proud. These examples should illustrate effective
skills and capabilities you think apply to the office
you are seeking. These accomplishments may have
occurred at any time in your personal, professional,
or public life.

activities in the community in which you have acquired
skills that relate to the office you seek. Include
your role in the activity and the year(s) in which you
